In Loving Memory

Johnathan Dorsey
April 18, 2000 — July 3, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Johnathan Dorsey, who departed from this world far too soon on July 3, 2026, at the tender age of 26. Born in the vibrant city of Atlanta, Georgia, on April 18, 2000, Johnathan was a beacon of light and love to all who knew him.
Johnathan was the cherished son of Marie Walker, who nurtured him with boundless love and guidance. Throughout his life, he was surrounded by a close-knit circle of family who adored him, including his dear partner, Trekyria Williams. His legacy of love and kindness lives on through his surviving family members: Ava Dorsey, Christian Morgan, Destiny Walker, Jasmine Walker, Dasia Cullins, and Dmyhia Cullins, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
A proud graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, Johnathan was a bright and curious student who carried his love for learning into every facet of his life. He was a true aficionado of sports and movies, finding joy and inspiration in every game and film. But his greatest passion was his family; he was, above all, a family person whose love was endless and unconditional.
Johnathan's warmth and compassion extended beyond his family to everyone he associated with. He was known for his ability to light up a room with his smile and to bring comfort and joy to those around him. His child, who was the center of his world, was the recipient of his unwavering affection and care, and he was a devoted parent who found immense happiness in every moment spent together.
A service to celebrate Johnathan's life will be held on July 18, 2026, at 3:30 PM at 580 Atlanta Student Movement Blvd SW, Atlanta, GA 30314. Family and friends are invited to gather and share in the remembrance of a life lived with great love and purpose.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in honor of Johnathan's generous spirit and commitment to making the world a better place.
Though Johnathan has left this earthly realm, his spirit will forever remain with those who loved him. He will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
May he rest in eternal peace.
