Johna Lockley

October 3, 1961 — May 6, 2026

With profound sadness and gentle reflection, we announce the passing of Johna Lockley, a remarkable woman whose life was a testament to love, kindness, and unwavering compassion. Born on October 3, 1961, in the vibrant city of Seattle, Washington, Johna was the cherished daughter of the late Howard and Ann Bryant. She peacefully departed this world on May 6, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever resonate in the hearts of all who knew her. Johna grew up in a close-knit family, the youngest of four children, surrounded by the protective love of her parents and her three older brothers, Dennis, Buddy, and Randy, who predeceased her. Her early years were filled with laughter, learning, and the forging of lifelong values that would define her character. A proud graduate of Renton Technical College, Johna pursued a career in practical nursing, a profession that allowed her to extend her natural empathy and compassion to those in need. She dedicated her working life to the Seattle VA Hospital, where she served in the physics department. Her colleagues remember her not only for her professional excellence but for the warmth and understanding she brought into the lives of her patients and coworkers alike. Johna was a beacon of love and acceptance, embracing everyone she met with genuine kindness. She had an extraordinary ability to see both sides of any situation and was never quick to judge, a quality that endeared her to all. Her family was her world, and she lived her life with a deep, abiding commitment to them, always willing to do anything to ensure their happiness and well-being. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Christina (husband Lorenzo Sr), Jamie, Darlisha (husband Dominique), and her youngest daughter, Jordan. Johna's love extended into the next generations, as she was a proud grandmother to eleven grandchildren: Lorenzo Jr, Sabre, Linda, Laila, Isaiah, Sarah, Jamilah, Jayden, Kingston, Laithen, and Moon. Her heart was further blessed with the joy of four great-grandchildren, whose presence brought her endless delight. Johna cherished the simple pleasures of life, whether it was a cozy night spent by the fireplace with a good movie or the joyous laughter shared with her daughters and grandchildren. Her home was a haven of warmth and love, a place where everyone felt accepted and cherished. As we bid farewell to Johna, we remember her as a woman of extraordinary grace and compassion, whose love knew no bounds. Her spirit will forever be a guiding light for her family and friends, a reminder of the beauty of a life well-lived. A celebration of Johna Lockley’s life will be held in the coming days, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share in the love that she so generously gave to all. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity close to Johna’s heart, in support of continuing her legacy of kindness and compassion. Johna Lockley will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the lives she touched and the hearts she filled with love.
