Born on January 29, 1995, in Michigan City, Indiana, John was the treasured son of James Lawson and Michelle Brown, uncle, cousin and brother to Jason Brown, Mario Burley and Shonnieta Brown. Whose lives he enriched with boundless love and unyielding joy. From an early age, John's curious spirit and gentle nature became evident to all who knew him. Growing up in Michigan City, he was often found exploring the natural beauty surrounding his home, a testament to his love for the outdoors and the simple pleasures in life. John's laughter resonated with warmth, and his kindness touched the hearts of those fortunate enough to cross paths with him. John was a bright light in the lives of many, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. His compassionate heart led him to participate in various community service projects, where he made it his mission to bring comfort and aid to those in need. As a devoted son, his bond with his parents, James and Michelle, was one of profound respect and unconditional love. Although John's life was unexpectedly brief, his impact was nothing short of extraordinary. He pursued his passions with dedication and enthusiasm, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. In keeping with John's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor his life and memory. His family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in John's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting his generous spirit and dedication to making the world a better place. John Lawson will be remembered for his loving heart, his infectious smile, and the light he brought into the lives of so many.
