With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved John Moore, who departed this life peacefully at home on February 28, 2026, just days shy of his 64th birthday. Born on March 4, 1962, in the vibrant city of Orlando, Florida, John was a beacon of warmth and kindness, known for his unwavering dedication to family and community. John was the cherished son of John Moore Sr. and Mary Moore, who instilled in him the values of integrity and compassion. He was predeceased by his dear brother William Moore and his beloved sister Betty Moore, whose memories he carried with him throughout his life. A devoted husband, John leaves behind his loving wife, Elis Moore, who was his steadfast companion and confidante throughout their journey together. Their bond was an inspiring testament to the power of love and partnership. John also leaves his son, John Moore III, who was his pride and joy, and whose presence brought immeasurable happiness to his life. John's legacy continues through his two cherished grandchildren, who were the light of his eyes and the source of endless stories and laughter. John's life was a tapestry of rich experiences and accomplishments. Those who knew him will remember his infectious smile and his ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued. He was a man of integrity and strength, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. We invite family, friends, and all whose lives John touched to join us in celebrating his remarkable life. A service honoring John will be held on February 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM at St. Mary’s Church, located at First Baptist Orlando. It is a fitting place to gather in memory of a man who lived his life with faith, hope, and unwavering love for those around him. As we mourn the loss of John, we also celebrate the indelible mark he left on our hearts. His spirit and kindness live on in all of us who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love he gave so freely in life.
