John was the beloved son of the late Toni and Tim Cartwright and was predeceased by his dear son, Brandon Johnson, and treasured daughters, Sonya and Tonya Johnson. His family was his pride and joy, and he found great solace in the company of his surviving children, Brandon, Sonya, and Tonya Johnson, who will continue to carry forward his legacy of love and strength. A man of great warmth and humility, John was blessed with thirteen grandchildren who were the light of his life. He relished every moment spent with them, imparting wisdom, sharing stories, and creating memories that will be cherished for generations. John’s gentle spirit and compassionate heart were evident in every facet of his life, from his career to his hobbies and, most importantly, in his relationships with those he loved dearly. John possessed a remarkable ability to connect with others, offering a listening ear and a comforting presence to anyone in need. His friends and family will forever remember his laughter that could fill a room and his generosity that knew no bounds. His steadfast faith and resilience were sources of strength for those around him, especially during times of hardship. While we mourn the loss of a truly remarkable man, we also celebrate the indelible impact he had on all who knew him. Though John’s time with us was far too short, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and the countless people he inspired. In keeping with John’s wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor his life and legacy. The family extends their deepest gratitude for the support and condolences received during this difficult time.
