John Marlin Foltz, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and adventure. Born on March 19, 1944, in Wynne, Arkansas, John was the cherished son of Dalton and Alma Foltz. John was a man of many talents and passions. He found immense joy in the skies, often piloting his Cessna planes and basking in the freedom that flying brought him. His adventurous spirit also took him to far-off lands, with New Zealand and Australia holding a special place in his heart for the memories they offered. A man of remarkable skill, John was known as a gifted handyman, always ready to lend a helping hand or craft something new. His creative spirit extended to jewelry making, where he found satisfaction in the delicate art of crafting beautiful pieces. John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dian Foltz, with whom he shared many years of love and companionship. His son, John Todd Bennett, and his brothers, Murphy Foltz and Glen Foltz, also predeceased him. Despite these profound losses, John's spirit remained resilient, and he continued to be a source of strength and support for his family. He is survived by his children, Jeff Foltz and Nikki Foltz, who will carry forward his legacy with pride. His six grandchildren—Hadley & Stephanie Foltz, Joel Bennett, Adrien Bennett, Daniel Bennett, and Andrew Bennett—were a source of immense joy in his life. Throughout his years, John also welcomed the blessing of eight great-grandchildren, who brought him countless smiles and cherished moments. In honoring John's memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting John's generous nature and his commitment to making the world a better place.
