John Henry Bellagamba

John "Jack" Bellagamba, born on April 15, 1947, in St Louis County, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026. Jack was the cherished son of the late August and Louise Bellagamba and the beloved brother of the late David C. Bellagamba and Andrea L. Walz. His spirit and wisdom continue to live on in the hearts of his surviving family members: his devoted twin sister, Janet T. Hanne, and her husband Ken; his loving niece, Angela Klump, and her husband Elmer; his cherished nephew, Troy Hanne, and his wife Lisa; and his treasured niece, Amanda Klump. He also leaves behind his dear niece Vanessa Pinedo and her husband Daniel, and many adored great-nieces and nephews. Though Jack lived with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, using a wheelchair did not define him. Instead, it shaped his extraordinary journey of perseverance and triumph. A lifelong learner and passionate writer, Jack earned his GED and dedicated 30 years to pursuing an associate degree in communication, using adaptive technology that he lovingly referred to as his "lifeline." His determination and love for knowledge were a testament to his unwavering spirit. Jack's life was brightened by the companionship of his lifelong friend and fiancé, Linda Sue Carlson, of Anaheim, CA. Their bond was a testament to the power of friendship and love, transcending any challenges life presented. A man of faith and community, Jack was an active member of Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church in Ballwin, MO, and participated in LifeBridge Partnership. His compassion and dedication to his community were evident in the relationships he nurtured and the lives he touched. Jack's passions extended to the arts; he was an avid writer and found joy in the timeless classics of TCM movies. A service celebrating Jack's remarkable life will be held on August 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church, located at 1230 Big Bend. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be available via livestream. In lieu of flowers, Jack's family kindly requests donations be made to Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church-Global Missions or LifeBridge Partnership, St Louis, in honor of his enduring legacy and the values he held dear. Jack will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His infectious smile, gentle spirit, and indomitable will to embrace life fully will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.
