In Loving Memory of John Green It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved John Green, who departed this world on April 27, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 27, 1957, in Ambler, Pennsylvania, John lived a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. John was the cherished son of Dorthy and James Green, who instilled in him the values of kindness, integrity, and perseverance. He carried these values throughout his life, touching the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His formative years in Ambler shaped the man he became—steadfast, generous, and deeply committed to those around him. John's legacy is beautifully reflected in his surviving family: his loving children, Michael White, John Green Jr., and Yasmine Green, who continue to honor their father's memory through their own lives and the lives of their children. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to ten wonderful grandchildren, whose laughter and joy he cherished dearly. He leaves behind his brothers, George Green and Brian Green, whose bond with John was a testament to the strength and warmth of their family ties. Throughout his life, John exemplified the virtues of love and dedication, not only to his family but also to his friends and community. His passion for life was contagious, and he found immense joy in the simple pleasures—whether it was spending a quiet afternoon with a good book, sharing stories over dinner with loved ones, or offering a helping hand to those in need. John had the unique ability to make everyone feel special and appreciated, and his gentle spirit and infectious laughter will be deeply missed. A service to celebrate John's life will be held on May 8, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Ben’s Church, located at 452 West Main Street, Ambler, PA. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by John's kindness are invited to join us as we honor and remember a truly remarkable man who left an indelible mark on all our hearts. John Green's life was a blessing to all who knew him, and though he has left this earthly realm, his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. We take solace in knowing that he is now at peace, reunited with those who have gone before him. May we carry his light forward in our own lives, forever grateful for the time we shared with such an extraordinary soul.
