Born on July 10, 1940, in the vibrant city of Kansas City, Kansas, John was a beacon of strength, resilience, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.
The beloved son of John and Mary Elindozo, John was raised in a close-knit family that instilled in him enduring values of hard work and compassion. He was preceded in death by his dear brothers, Moye Garcia, Angelo Garcia, Lalo, Anthony, Richard, and Robert Espino, as well as his cherished sisters, Margaret Mendoza and Betty Gutierrez. His life was marked by the deep bonds he shared with his family, who were always at the heart of his world.
John dedicated his life to his craft, working as a skilled shoe repairman. His hands worked magic, breathing new life into worn soles and weary leather. For him, it was not merely a job but a calling that allowed him to serve his community with care and precision.
In his leisure time, John found joy in the simple pleasures of life. A loyal supporter of his hometown teams, he could often be found cheering on the Kansas City Royals and the Chiefs, whether from the comfort of his living room or hospital bed. His passion for sports was infectious, and his love for these teams was a testament to his enduring spirit and loyalty.
While John may no longer be with us in body, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. His family wishes to express their profound gratitude to those who supported John and them throughout his illness.
