John E. Fallgreen 3rd

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John E. Fallgreen 3rd, affectionately known as "Johnny," who left us peacefully at his home on August 9, 2026, after a valiant and brave battle with lung disease. Born on January 17, 1965, in the sunny town of San Rafael, California, John brought warmth and light to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. John was the beloved son of John E. Fallgreen Jr. and Patricia A. Anderson. His mother, Patricia, and his sister, Jennifer Hall, survive him, cherishing the memories of a life filled with love and laughter. A true outdoorsman at heart, John found joy in the simplicity and beauty of nature. He spent countless days fishing, camping, hiking, and exploring the great outdoors. Whether he was snowmobiling, cycling around town, or seeking out hidden treasures at second-hand shops, John’s zest for life was evident in everything he did. His artistic spirit shone brightly through his wire art and crystal creations, and he lovingly crafted dream catchers that captured the dreams of many. John's sense of adventure was equally matched by his boundless sense of humor. Known for impersonating Daffy Duck with uncanny accuracy, he brought laughter to all those around him. His determination and good-natured spirit were hallmarks of his character, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors alike. His love for travel took him across the vast landscapes of Montana, Oregon, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and California, where he explored and embraced life with an open heart. John's unique ability to tame the untamable, as seen in his bond with the spirited horse "Twister Reed," spoke volumes about his gentle yet firm nature. John's family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful nurses, caretakers, friends, and family who stood by his side throughout his journey. Their compassion and support provided comfort and strength during his final days. In honor of John's memory, donations may be made to the American Lung Association, National Headquarters, located in Chicago, IL.
