John was also a proud father to Sue Ann and a doting grandfather to one precious grandchild, who brought immense joy to his life. A learned man, John achieved an MBA in Fine Arts, a testament to his boundless creativity and passion for the arts. His professional career as a wrestler was not only a display of physical prowess but also of his indomitable spirit and determination. In 1988, John answered the call to serve his country, enlisting in the Army where he epitomized courage and commitment. Following his military service, he continued to give back to his community as a leader within the LDS church. His faith and leadership inspired many, and his contributions will be remembered by all who had the privilege to know him. John was a man of many talents and interests. He found solace and expression in drawing and painting, often capturing the world around him with a unique blend of heart and imagination. These hobbies were more than pastimes; they were an extension of his generous spirit and thoughtful nature. John is predeceased by his dear family members, Sue and Beth, whose memories he cherished dearly. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those he leaves behind, his loving wife Susan, daughter Sue Ann, and grandchild, who will continue to honor his memory and the values he upheld. A celebration of John's life will be held on September 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Leavitt's Mortuary, located at 836 36th Street, Ogden, UT 84403.
