Born on July 9, 1961, in Orlando, Florida, John was a beacon of joy and laughter, touching the lives of everyone he met. His final days were spent surrounded by the love of family and friends, leaving this world peacefully. John was the cherished son of the late John Charles Jackson, Sr., and Gloria Roundtree Jackson. He was predeceased by his parents, as well as his brothers, Milton Roundtree and Bobby Jackson. His memory will forever be treasured by his surviving siblings: Kevin Roundtree and his wife Cherry, Lee Andre Jackson, Tonya, and Cynthia Jackson. John was also a devoted uncle to a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, all of whom will dearly miss their favorite uncle. A man of many interests, John delighted in spending time with his great-nieces and great-nephews, always armed with a seemingly endless supply of sweets and snacks. His love for collecting knickknacks was unparalleled, and he had an extraordinary ability to find the perfect place for each treasured item. John's loyalty to the Orlando Magic was unwavering, and he never missed an opportunity to cheer for his team, hopeful for their success. John possessed an infectious smile and a quick wit that brought laughter and joy to all around him. His heart of gold and innate ability to make people feel special were hallmarks of his character. Known for his impeccable sense of style, John often declared himself the best-dressed in the family, a testament to his vibrant personality and flair. A memorial service to celebrate John's life will be held on July 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, located at 501 Fara Road, Orlando, FL 32808. The family takes comfort in knowing that John is now at peace and reunited with those who have gone before him. John's family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered support and condolences during this difficult time.
