John was a beloved son of Ruth Sawyer and the late John Bartenope. He was predeceased by his devoted grandparents, Lucy and John Bartenope, and Butcher and Emily Mace, as well as his cherished sister, Kelly Bartenope. Despite these losses, John carried forward the love and lessons they imparted, creating a life filled with meaningful connections. He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Bartenope, who shared with him not only a home but also countless adventures and dreams. Together, they raised a beautiful family, nurturing their children Kendra, Kayla Crostley, Zoey, and Zack Bartenope, who will forever cherish the memories and values imparted by their father. John was also a cherished brother to Sheila and Mike Kuzo, and Josette and Jim Snyder. He was a loving uncle to Benjamin Kuzo and Emily Staneck, and a dear friend and family member to Chad Warman, Tina Warman, and Renee Bartenope. A graduate of Carbon County Vo-Tech, John pursued a career that was a testament to his hardworking nature. As a commercial driver and mover for Mayflower, he was known for his reliability and dedication. Beyond his professional life, John was an avid fisherman who found peace and joy in the serene embrace of nature's creeks. He was passionate about riding dirt bikes and motorcycles, always eager to share these pursuits with his children. Above all, John's heart was in being present for his family, creating countless memories filled with laughter and love. John was the kind of person who would always be there to lend a helping hand, no matter the circumstance. His generous spirit and unwavering support for others were hallmarks of his character, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those fortunate enough to know him.
