John Ben Ridgell, Jr.

John Ben Ridgell, Jr., of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas passed away Jun 17, 2026. He was born on May 1, 1934 in Monticello, AR., to John Ben and Sula Mae (Lamb) Ridgell Sr. John loved traveling and spending time with family and friends, but the strongest love he had was for Christ and how he continuously showered his blessing among all those he loved. John was preceded in death by his beloved spouse, Geraldine Anita Ridgell; father, John Ben Ridgell Sr., mother, Sula Mae Ridgell; brothers:Charles Ridgell, Calvin Ridgell; sister-in-law, Ruth Ridgell, mother-in-law, Louise Ross, and a special sister/cousin Cammera Block. Survivors include his sons, Jimmy (Vern) Wilson of AR, John Ben (Mary) Ridgell III of MO, daughter, Crystal Ridgell (Felton Payne) of MO, grandchildren, Melanie (Nick) Greene of AR, Kristina Middlebrook, Gabrielle Middlebrook, John Benjamin (IV), Andrea Middlebrook, and Madeline (Greg) Semanisin and special niece Doris Tomlinson of MI, sister-in-laws Margaret Ridgell of AR, Sonia (Lionel) Harris of CA, Debbie Roth, Julia (Ingelman) De Diaz of MN, brother-in-law Norman Berry of MN, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 30, from 9:00 - 10:00 A.M. and the celebration of John’s will be held immediately after. Burial will follow the service at Arkansas State Veteran Cemetery, Little Rock, AR at 1:00.
