We gather to celebrate the remarkable life of John B Jackson, who peacefully passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on October 22, 1936, in the humble town of Buckeye, Arizona, John lived a life filled with love, dedication, and unwavering faith. John was the beloved son of Willie and Louise Jackson and the brother of 7 siblings who preceded him in death. He carried forward the values instilled in him by his parents, fostering a family that would mirror the warmth and strength he grew up with. He is survived by his devoted wife Irma, with whom he shared 65 beautiful years. Together, they raised three sons—Glenn, Anthony, and Cedric—each of whom carry on his legacy of kindness and integrity. John also leaves behind 2 cherished daughters in-law, Kimberly and Diana Jackson; two grandsons, Collin and Wyatt; one adored granddaughter, Ariana; and one great-grandson, Adrien, as well as a host of beloved nieces and nephews. In 1969, John dedicated his life to Jehovah, marking the beginning of a spiritual journey that would touch the lives of many. His commitment and love for his faith were evident through his service as an Elder in various congregations across Riverside, California, eventually moving to Buckeye, Arizona where he also served as an elder in the Buckeye Valley Congregation.His greatest joy was found in the door-to-door ministry, where he selflessly aided many in coming to know Jehovah. John truly embodied his favorite scripture, Isaiah 6:8, "Here I am, send me," living his life in service to others and to his faith. John's presence was a beacon of light and love, and he was deeply loved by all who knew him. His gentle spirit and unwavering dedication to his beliefs have left an indelible mark on the hearts of many. Though he will be profoundly missed, his legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. The repast to celebrate John's life will be held on September 19, 2026, at 5:30 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Sundance Country Club, located at 900 S Sundance Parkway, to share memories and celebrate the life of a truly remarkable man.
