John Aguilar, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on July 10, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and unyielding compassion. Born on January 23, 1976, In the 130th Station Hospital in Heidelberg, Germany, John was the cherished son of the late Daniel Salcido Aguilar and Christine Marie Aguilar. He was predeceased by his parents, along with his grandparents Juanita Salazar Gonzales, Fred C. Gonzales, and his beloved wife Angela Aguilar. John's life was a testament to his boundless generosity and the warmth he extended to everyone he met. Married to Angela Licon for seven years, he found profound joy in their union and was widowed for ten years after her passing. They shared a love that inspired all who knew them. A graduate of university in 1994, John was truly a "jack of all trades." His expertise in construction and mechanics was unmatched, and his passion for helping others knew no bounds. Whether it was fixing a car, building a deck, or simply lending an ear, John's skills and heart were always at the service of those in need. He was the cornerstone of any project, the problem-solver in every scenario, and most importantly, he was the heart of his community. John's love for artistry, late-night fishing, and week-long camping trips were only overshadowed by his unending love for his family and friends. He was a man who found beauty in the world and cherished every moment spent with those he loved. Known for his quick wit and warm smile, John had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. His humor would light up the darkest of rooms, and his generous spirit touched countless lives. He is survived by his loving children Juanita Aguilar, Josiah Aguilar, Amara Allison, John Jr. Aguilar, Ray Ceballos. His siblings Tomas Velasco, Rhiannon Velasco, Edward Amendariz Aguilar and Daniel Aguilar. John was the proud grandfather to two grandchildren Joshua Aguilar and Alayah Gonzales who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and love. Along with many beloved Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and Dear friends. Everyone that was there for him is very special and you know that he loved yall very much he would want to thank every single one of yall however there is to many to name just know in your heart anything you did for John Aguilar will never be forgotten and will always be appreciated. A service to honor John's life will be held on August 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home, located at 2609 S Main St. The family kindly suggests donations be made to the Anderson Bethany Funeral Home in John's memory. As his family fondly remembers him, they hold close his favorite saying, "This too shall pass," a testament to his enduring optimism and strength. John Aguilar will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
