September 30, 1960 — March 22, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joesph Anthony, a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, who peacefully departed this world on March 22, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on September 30, 1960, in Maryland, Joesph lived a life that was rich in love, laughter, and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the honor of knowing him. Joesph was predeceased by his cherished wife, Natalie Anthony, with whom he shared a special bond that began in high school. Their love story was one of enduring devotion, having parented two wonderful children together. Though they eventually took different paths, their connection remained strong, with a deep, abiding love that persisted throughout their lives. A man of considerable intellect and compassion, Joesph pursued a career in science engineering beginning in 1981, where he made significant contributions with his innovative spirit. His professional life was marked not only by his work in engineering but also by his profound commitment to helping those less fortunate. In 1990, he opened a homeless shelter, which he ran until 1998, embodying his generous nature and deep empathy for others. Joesph was a man who found joy in the simplicity of life. He cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his nieces and nephews, who will fondly remember his warm energy and ever-present smile. He was a man who loved the great outdoors, often found fishing or enjoying nature’s beauty, and he valued the simple pleasure of reading the newspaper each morning. Joesph was a beacon of positivity, always smiling even when times were tough. His loving heart and giving spirit were evident to all who knew him, and he was especially adored by his in-laws and extended family. Though he had no grandchildren or great-grandchildren, his legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. A celebration of Joesph’s remarkable life will be held on April 1, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Arlington Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, FL, 32211. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the life of a man who truly made the world a better place simply by being in it. As we say goodbye, we hold close to our hearts the special memories we shared with Joesph. His spirit will live on in the lives he touched, and his family shares this message: "Joesph is forever in our hearts, may his soul live on."
