Joe Gonzales

January 24, 1941 — August 17, 2026

Joe Gonzales, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on August 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on January 24, 1941, in Dallas, Texas, Joe was the cherished son of the late Juan Gonzales and Andrea Rodriguez. A man of great integrity and warmth, Joe dedicated his life to serving others, both in his personal life and through his military service in the U.S. Army. His commitment to his country was matched only by his devotion to his family, whom he loved fiercely and unconditionally. Joe shared a beautiful 65-year marriage with his devoted wife, Maria Gonzales. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and countless cherished memories. Joe was a proud father to his four children: Jo Gonzales, Joe Gonzales Jr. and his spouse Misha Gonzales, their son Micah ad his wife Megan and son AJ, and Joey and Misha's grand children Owen, Harlow and Amara Yolanda White, and John Gonzales. His family was his pride and joy, and he never missed an opportunity to share in their achievements and support them in their endeavors. As a grandfather, Joe delighted in the accomplishments of his grandchildren, Ashlee Worden and her spouse Nick, and was endlessly proud of his great-grandchildren, River and Emory Worden. Joe's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him. Joe's gentle spirit and generous heart left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. He was a humble man, always ready with a kind word or a helping hand. His joy for life was infectious, and his laughter could light up the darkest room. Joe Gonzales will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the lives he touched, and the love he gave so freely.
