He was not just a good person; he was a guiding light to those around him, especially to his surviving family members: Shaneka Freeman, Jai Freeman, Tyzaria McKenzie, and Erika McKenzie. Though Joe never married, his family and friends were the center of his universe, and he cherished every moment spent with them. A devoted fishing enthusiast, Joe found solace and joy on the water. It was there that he often reflected on life’s simple pleasures and the beauty of nature, always returning with stories to share and memories to treasure. His passion for fishing was matched only by his dedication to being a positive influence, serving as a role model for the younger generations, imparting wisdom, and offering guidance with a kind heart and an open mind.
