Jodi Lynn Myers

Jodi Myers, age 57, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2026, at OSU East Hospital after a courageous battle with COPD. Born on October 5, 1969, in Columbus, Jodi’s life was a beautiful tapestry of love, resilience, and creativity that left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Jodi was a woman of unwavering strength and a remarkable zest for life. Her infectious laughter and kind heart touched those around her, and she had a rare ability to make everyone feel instantly welcome and valued. Her home was always a place of comfort, joy, and open arms. Her family was the absolute center of her world. Jodi’s nurturing spirit was most beautifully expressed through her role as a grandmother; she poured her love into creating hand-made blankets for her two adored grandchildren, infusing every single stitch with warmth. She also cherished the simple joys of life, particularly enjoying lively bingo nights with her mother. She is survived by: • Her devoted partner of 40 years, Kevin Horton of Columbus, OH • Her loving mother, Hilda Myers • Her children, Jesse Lee Myers of Delaware, OH, and Katie Horton of Columbus, OH • Her sister, Christy Hill • Her two cherished grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends Jodi was preceded in death by her beloved father, Warren Lee Myers. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished. May her soul rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she so freely gave to the world.
