Jodi Baker
August 28, 1962 — September 2, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jodi Baker, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Jodi peacefully departed this world on September 2, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on August 28, 1962, in Milwaukee, WI, to the late David and Connie (Pfeister) Warras, Jodi lived a life full of love, compassion, and dedication to those around her.
Jodi was a cherished member of her community, known for her unwavering kindness and her ability to light up any room with her warm presence. She grew up in a loving family and was particularly close to her sister, the late Wendy Warras-Edwards. Jodi found joy in the simplest of things and had an innate ability to make others feel loved and cared for.
A graduate of Menominee High School, Jodi furthered her education at Bay de Noc Community College, where she honed her skills and nurtured her passion for helping others. Her life was defined by her altruistic nature and her genuine interest in the well-being of those around her.
Jodi's greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Erin Norkooli, and her two adored grandsons, Bryce and Cameryn Norkooli, whom she loved more than words can convey. Jodi's grandsons were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her bond with her family was deep and enduring, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will be carried on by her surviving siblings: her sister Wanda Mottel and her brothers Dave and Kieth Warras.
Jodi found endless happiness in the companionship of her beloved dog, Skylar, and treasured her moments of solace and joy in Skylar’s company. Her warmth extended beyond her family and friends, as she often went out of her way to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
In addition to her parents and sister Wendy, Jodi was predeceased by her husband, Mike Baker.
A service to honor Jodi's life will be held on September 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM at her sister Wanda's home, located at 5960 County Rd D, Abrams, WI. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the life of this incredible woman who touched so many lives.
Jodi Baker’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her spirit of kindness, love, and generosity will never be forgotten. She has left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her, and she will be deeply missed.
