Joanna was the beloved daughter of the late Mary Allen and Robert Chambers, and sister to her late brother, Timothy Lee Chambers. She found immense joy in her family, leaving behind a legacy of love with her husband, Roy Salas, whom she married on October 3, 2005. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership.
She was the cherished mother of Matthew Charles Chambers and John Robert Rendon, and a devoted stepmother to Augustine and Samuel Rendon, and Christine Brown. Joanna was blessed with a host of grandchildren—Mariah Rendon, Nasia Temia Rendon, King Kain Rendon, and Kyro Sire Rendon—each of whom brought her immeasurable joy and pride.
Joanna's career spanned over four decades at Thundercloud Subs, where she rose to become a successful manager. Known for her strong work ethic, she was respected and admired by her colleagues and customers alike. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her compassion for those around her, as she was always ready to offer a helping hand or a listening ear to anyone in need.
Outside of work, Joanna had a zest for life that was evident in her love for movies, music, and travel. These passions were often shared with family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Her open heart and empathetic nature made her a confidante and friend to many, providing solace and support to those facing life's challenges.
Joanna's life will be celebrated on May 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Harrell Funeral Home. Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to join in remembering her remarkable journey and the indelible mark she left on the world.
