Joanna Fife

October 30, 1945 — August 27, 2026

Joanna Fife, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on August 27, 2026. Born on October 30, 1945, in Talihina, Oklahoma, Joanna was the cherished daughter of LeRoy Carr and Irene Fife. She was predeceased by her parents, a son, Steven Wise, two brothers, Andrew and Barney Camp Jr, and two sisters, Harriet and Mary Sue Davis. Joanna is survived by her devoted family, including her son Eric Wise and daughter-in-law Jennie Cloud of Bristow, Oklahoma; daughter Evangeline Wise of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; son Kaylon and daughter-in-law Jenni Wise of Mannford, Oklahoma; daughter Kathylon Wise of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son Duke and daughter-in-law Linda Wise of Davis, California; and son Jeremiah Wise of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her legacy continues through her 14 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. In 1964, Joanna married the love of her life, Keley Wise Sr, and together they built a family rooted in love and faith. Joanna's spiritual journey led her from a Baptist background to joining the Bible Way Community Church of Fairfield, California, a Pentecostal Apostolic congregation, later in life. Known for her quick wit and warm smile, Joanna had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. Her kindness and sense of humor touched the lives of many, leaving behind memories of laughter and love. Joanna found joy in simple pleasures: sewing blankets for her family, fishing, and reading or listening to her Bible. She cherished every moment spent with her family, creating a tapestry of love that will be remembered for generations. A service to celebrate Joanna's life will be held on August 31, 2026, at 1:00 PM at New Hope Church, located at 12129 Hwy 56, Wewoka, Oklahoma 74884. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who cared for Joanna during her final days and as she went home to be with the Lord. The family is comforted by the words of Joshua 1:9: "This is my command, be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Joanna will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
