JoAnn Bromley

April 6, 1960 — August 12, 2026

JoAnn Bromley, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on August 12, 2026, after a brief illness. Born on April 6, 1960, in Pittsburgh, JoAnn was the cherished daughter of Wesley and Helen Bromley. She now joins them and her dear brother, David Bromley, in eternal rest. JoAnn was a proud graduate of StoRox High School, class of 1978. Her career began at MARC Advertising, where she excelled as a traffic manager for nearly a decade. However, JoAnn found her true calling as a full-time homemaker, dedicating her life to nurturing her family and creating a loving home. On a beautiful day in May 1990, JoAnn married her beloved husband, John Puhr. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, raising two wonderful children, Justin Puhr and Johnna Ignaski. JoAnn was overjoyed to become a grandmother, cherishing every moment with her grandchild. JoAnn had a zest for life and a passion for making memories with her loved ones. Weekend trips to the family's camp near Pymatuning Lake were among her favorite pastimes, where she enjoyed the company of family and friends, as well as her parents, creating a tapestry of cherished moments. Despite facing health challenges since 2003, JoAnn possessed an unwavering spirit and an optimistic outlook. She focused on the joys of life, never dwelling on difficulties, and inspired all who knew her with her resilience and grace. JoAnn is survived by her loving siblings, Virginia Kolarcik, Kathy McCurdy, and Darlene Hall, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. Her children, Justin and Johnna, continue to carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers who provided compassionate support to JoAnn in her final days. It was a comfort to them that she never complained, even in her last days in and out of the hospital. In honor of JoAnn's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held. The family kindly asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers, as a tribute to JoAnn's generous spirit. JoAnn Bromley will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and unwavering love for her family. Her memory will forever be a guiding light for those she leaves behind.
