Joann was the treasured daughter of the late Leroy and Maude Baugher. She grew up in a close-knit family alongside her sister Mae and brothers Elmer and Everett, all of whom predeceased her. Joann's life was a testament to the strength and resilience that her parents instilled in her from a young age.
Her life was touched by profound love when she married Ed Howard Weaver Sr., with whom she shared many beautiful years until his passing. Together, they built a family rooted in love and togetherness. Joann was predeceased by her husband Ed, her beloved children Linda Carol, Maude Elizabeth Weaver, and Edward Howard Weaver Jr., as well as her siblings.
Despite the heartaches she endured, Joann's spirit remained unbroken. She was the proud and loving mother of Lois Mae, who resides in Oklahoma. Joann's legacy continues through her five grandchildren, Lisa Mae, Melissa Polak, Lois Walker, and Stevie Freeman, all residing in Oklahoma, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Her family blossomed further, blessing her with 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren, who brought joy and laughter into her life.
Known for her friendly smile and open heart, Joann had a unique gift for making everyone feel like a friend. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth, where visitors were greeted with kindness and a sense of belonging. Her generosity of spirit and unwavering love for her family were the hallmarks of her character. Joann's life was a testament to how one person's kindness can touch countless lives.
In keeping with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Joann's life and legacy, allowing her family the space to celebrate her memory in a setting filled with love and reflection.
