It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jimmy Bulkley, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who left this world unexpectedly on November 3, 2026. Born on January 30, 1961, in Hicksville, NY, Jimmy was a cherished son to the late Frank and Agnes Bulkley and a devoted brother to Phillip and Julie. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Bobby, whose memories he held close to his heart. Jimmy grew up in a family that valued love and humor, traits he carried with him throughout his life. On April 25, 1987, he married the love of his life, Lisa, with whom he shared 39 wonderful years. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised three incredible children, James (Jenna), Cassandra (Bryan), and Ryan (Cassie), each of whom Jimmy adored and cherished. For 35 years, Jimmy dedicated himself to the United States Postal Service, where his commitment and diligence earned him a place in the Million Mile accident-free club in 2022, a testament to his exemplary work ethic and attention to detail. His colleagues knew him not only for his professionalism but also for his infectious humor and ability to bring joy to any situation. An avid fisherman, Jimmy was happiest when he was out on the water, casting a line and enjoying the tranquility of nature. His love for sports was profound, and he was a loyal fan of the Giants, Yankees, and Knicks, whether he was cheering them on from the stands or from the comfort of his living room. Jimmy's personality was one of warmth and laughter; he had a unique gift for making people smile and lifting spirits with his quick wit and playful banter. His hardworking nature and his genuine kindness touched the lives of all who knew him. Jimmy's legacy is one of love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He is survived by his devoted wife Lisa, his beloved children and their spouses, and his siblings Phillip (Joan) and Julie (John), who will all miss him dearly. As we gather to celebrate his life, we remember Jimmy for the joy he brought into the world and the love he spread so generously.
