April 10, 1977 — May 21, 2026
With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Jill Summers, who left this world on May 21, 2026, at the age of 49. Jill departed peacefully at her home in Colorado Springs, surrounded by love, following a valiant battle. She now rests with the angels, embraced within the gates of heaven.
Born on April 10, 1977, in the vibrant landscapes of Colorado Springs, Jill was the cherished daughter of Cheryl Summers. Her life was marked by an enduring love for family, nature, and the simple joys that life offers. Although predeceased by her beloved Lorenzo Brown, Jill's spirit and legacy continue through her devoted family.
Jill is survived by her loving mother, Cheryl Summers, and her two brothers, John Summers and Brent Capollo, who stood by her side through all of life's moments. She was the proud mother of six daughters: Breanna Brown, Andrea Brown, Tianna Brown, Makayla Brown, Mariah Brown, and Amber Brown. Her life was further enriched by the presence of her cherished boyfriend, Al, and her beloved 15 grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Jill's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and the beauty of the natural world. She found immense joy in fishing and boating, often accompanied by her daughters and grandchildren, creating memories that will forever be cherished. Her love for the outdoors was a reflection of her free spirit and her appreciation for the world's serene beauty.
Her legacy is not just in the memories she created but in the values she imparted—love, resilience, and the importance of family. Jill's warmth, strength, and compassion were the cornerstones of her life, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
As we say goodbye, we hold tightly to the love she gave and the lessons she taught. Jill's light will continue to shine in the hearts of her family and friends, guiding them with her unwavering love.
A celebration of Jill's life will be held in the coming days, a time for family and friends to gather, share stories, and honor the incredible life she led. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jill's name to a charity close to her heart, ensuring her spirit of giving continues to touch lives.
Rest in peace, dear Jill. Your journey on this earth may have ended, but your spirit soars eternally.
