It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Jill Renee Harvey, a loving mother, cherished daughter, devoted sister, and treasured friend. Jill peacefully departed this life at 9:47 am on March 13, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family and friends after a courageous year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on June 13, 1967, in Decatur, Illinois, Jill was a beacon of strength, love, and resilience, whose spirit touched everyone she met.
Jill was the beloved daughter of Paul Michael Walters and the late Mary Jane Walters. She fondly remembered her maternal grandmother, Mary E. Jordan, who predeceased her. Jill leaves behind a legacy of love through her daughter, Brittany R. Harvey, and her adored grandchildren, Brandon M. Whitley and Avah M. Harvey, who were the light of her life.
Jill's family was her anchor. She is survived by her father, Paul M. Walters, her sister, Corinthia M. Sullivan, and her brother, Troy M. Walters. Her uncles, aunts, and nieces, Aaron & Stephani Harrington, Adam & Kim Harrington, Roman Harrington, John & Janet Walters, Bonnie & Mike Mullins, Terry & Cheryl Walters, Cinda K. Walker, and Craig & Lori Walters, Rian Vanderburg, Breanna Hoffman, Leanne Hoffman, all shared a special bond with Jill.

Jill's professional life was equally blessed with friendships, as she was respected and loved by her bosses, Srdjan Damjanovic and Greg Weekes, and her many coworkers at Eastern Metal Supply.
A proud graduate of Cleburne High School in Cleburne, Texas, Jill completed her high school education in 1985 and pursued further education at Cleburne Community College. Her career was marked by dedication and excellence. She worked with Bonnell Aluminum in Indiana and Western Extrusions in Carrollton, Texas, before moving to Florida in 2004. Jill's tenure at Eastern Metal Supply began that same year and lasted until her passing. She was regarded as one of the most valuable employees, known for her work ethic, kindness, and ability to connect with colleagues and clients alike.
Jill was a woman of many talents and interests. She found joy in hand-knitting blankets, creating Cricket projects, and exploring pottery and ceramics. Her love for baking was shared with both adults and children, especially during the festive Christmas season, when her kitchen was filled with laughter and the sweet aroma of freshly baked treats.
Jill's life was a testament to love, compassion, and resilience. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered for her generous spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering strength.
A celebration of Jill's life will be held at a later date to be announced by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to a charitable organization of your choice, to continue the fight she bravely faced.
Jill Renee Harvey, your light continues to shine in the hearts of those who love you. May you rest in eternal peace.
