Jill Dalton, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 13, 1958, in Pierce County, Washington, Jill was the cherished daughter of John Zombolas and Arlene Wieczolek. Her life was a testament to the power of warmth, resilience, and an unwavering dedication to those she loved. Jill's stubborn spirit was matched only by her generous heart. Known for her caring nature, she often put the needs of others above her own, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Her kindness left an indelible mark on everyone she met, creating a legacy of love and compassion that will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Jill shared her life with her devoted husband, Tim, who stood by her side through every joy and challenge. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Jessica Kujawa and her husband Mike, Nicole Dalton and her partner Peter Hudgins, and Jay Bird Dalton. Her children were her pride and joy, and she delighted in the gift of being a grandmother to Nathan Kujawa, sharing with him her love for life and her gentle wisdom. Jill was predeceased by her brother, Jeff Zombolas, and is survived by her siblings, Jerry Zombolas and Janey Foy, along with her husband Jeff. She was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews, who will always remember her warmth and the special bond they shared. Her passions were many and varied. Jill had a deep love for her dog, Cutie, whose companionship brought her endless joy. A dedicated Cubs fan, she celebrated each game with enthusiasm. Jill was also an avid cook, creating recipes that brought her family together around the table. Her appreciation for the mood and weather revealed a poetic side, as she found beauty in each passing season. Even grocery shopping was an adventure for Jill, who relished the simple pleasures in life. In her memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, honoring Jill's lifelong commitment to helping others.
