In Loving Memory of Jesus Palacios-Maldonado It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jesus Palacios-Maldonado, who departed this life on August 5, 2026. Born on June 14, 1985, in Mexico, Jesus brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed by his family and community. Jesus was the cherished son of Francisca Maldonado, who survives him, along with his siblings Andrea, Paula, Yaquelin, Jeanette, Miguel, Adriana, and Abigail. His legacy of love and laughter continues through his numerous nieces and nephews, whom he adored and treated as his own children. Known affectionately as the "fun uncle," Jesus had an exceptional ability to bring smiles to the faces of those around him, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. A dedicated roofer by trade, Jesus took pride in his work, demonstrating both skill and a strong work ethic. Outside of his profession, he embraced life with passion and enthusiasm. He found joy in the simple pleasures, such as fishing, playing Pokémon Go, savoring the flavors of ramen noodles, and immersing himself in the world of anime. Jesus was also a connoisseur of spicy food, delighting in dishes that tested the limits of heat. Jesus's infectious sense of humor and genuine warmth endeared him to everyone he met. His ability to make others laugh was a true gift, and he shared it generously. Though he did not have children of his own, the bond he shared with his nieces and nephews was profound and filled with love. A service to honor and celebrate the life of Jesus Palacios-Maldonado will be held at St Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, located at 25236 Coastal Blvd, Onley, VA 23418, on August 10, 2026. At 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM is the viewing. 4:30PM to 6:30 PM is the prayer. And at 7:00 PM is mass. Family, friends, and all who were touched by Jesus's kindness are invited to attend and pay their respects. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the community for the outpouring of support and donations during this difficult time. Jesus's laughter and love will forever echo in the hearts of those he left behind. May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
