In Loving Memory

Jessie Overstreet Jr
June 5, 1961 — May 2, 2026
In loving memory of Jessie Overstreet Jr., who departed this life peacefully at home on May 2, 2026, after a courageous battle with illness. Born on June 5, 1961, in Auburn, NY, Jessie was a beacon of light to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jessie was the beloved son of Jessie and Claudia Overstreet, and he carried the family name with pride and grace. He was predeceased by his cherished grandparents, Jessie and Mary (Big Ma) Overstreet, and Eulas and Elouise Hill; his dear brother, Jamie Lee Overstreet; and his beloved nephews, Jamie and Christopher Overstreet; Mother-in-law Marsha Brazzleton. Their memories were forever etched in his heart, and he now joins them in eternal peace.
Jessie is survived by his dedicated wife, Antionette, and his loving son, Jessie Marcquel, who was the apple of his eye. His legacy of love and kindness lives on in his siblings: Cynthia, James (Claudia), Yolanda, Christopher, Justin (Deborah), Joshua (Nicole), and Reaquiel. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and together they were his greatest pride.
A devoted servant of the Lord, Jessie was a Deacon at the Bible-Way Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. His faith was his guiding light, and he shared it with humility and unwavering devotion. Known for his quick wit and warm smile, Jessie had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. He was always ready with a joke to lighten the mood, and his laughter was a balm that soothed many souls.
Jessie loved with his whole heart, the kind of love that didn’t measure or hold back. He gave freely—his time, his energy, his kindness—never asking what he might lose in return. To him, it mattered more that no one around him went without, even if it meant he quietly did. His kindness and generosity touched countless lives, and his spirit of giving was a testament to the goodness that resided within him.
In honor of Jessie's life and in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the American Diabetes Association, an organization that was close to his heart.
A celebration of Jessie's life will be held at a date to be announced, where family and friends will gather to remember and honor a life lived with love, faith, and laughter. Jessie Overstreet Jr. leaves behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and love that will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
