She was a cherished sister to her two brothers, Toby and Zach Unger, who survive her, and a beloved daughter to her devoted mother, Sarah.

She graduated from McCollensburg High School, where she forged lifelong friendships and developed a love for learning that she carried into her career. In 2020, she began her fulfilling journey as a nurse at the hospital in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Jessica's dedication to her patients was unparalleled. Her quick thinking and compassionate nature turned every patient into family, and her presence brought comfort and healing to those in need.
Jessica had an unyielding passion for the outdoors. She found solace in nature and spent countless joyful hours camping, fishing, and hiking. The great outdoors was her sanctuary, a place where she could escape and embrace the beauty of the world around her.
