Jessica Lee Sturgill

In loving memory of Jessica Lee Sturgill, who graced this world with her presence on November 25, 1975, in Dayton, Ohio, and peacefully departed on August 28, 2026. Her life, filled with love, laughter, and an unyielding spirit, was a testament to the kindness and beauty she brought to everyone she encountered. Jessica was the cherished daughter of the late Rise(pronounced Ree-sa) and Terry Harrison and sister to the late Jason Harrison. Although she has left this earthly realm, her legacy of love and joy lives on through her devoted family. She is survived by her beloved husband, James Sturgill, who shared 26 wonderful years of partnership, 11 of those in matrimony. Together, they raised three incredible sons: Kodi (Lindsey) Nadeau, Reice (Elizabeth) Nadeau, and Gabriel (Brooke) Nadeau, who were the pride and joy of her life. Her family extended beyond her immediate circle, as she was loved by her stepmother, Karen Bowling Harrison, and her siblings, Amy (Phillip) Pugh and Dustin (Elicia) Bowling. Jessica was also the adored aunt of nieces Aryana Jones, Courtney Pugh, Haley Pugh, and Autumn, and nephews Jeffery Jones, Sean Pugh, Logan Tudor, and Joshua Bowling. Her great-nieces Adrijana Miller and Amarianna Davis will carry forward her memory and spirit. Education was important to Jessica, and she proudly obtained her GED and two Pharmaceutical Tech degrees, setting an example of dedication and perseverance. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jessica found her greatest joy in being surrounded by her family. Her hobbies and interests always revolved around those she loved, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever. Jessica's radiant smile and ability to find the good in every situation were her defining qualities. Her beauty, both inside and out, was an inspiration to all who knew her. She had a remarkable ability to uplift others and bring warmth into the lives of those she touched. A service to celebrate Jessica's life will be held on September 12, 2026, at 11:00 PM at Valley Rock Church, located at 1173 Old Harshman Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45431. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her life and share memories of the joy she brought to so many. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jessica's memory to a charity of your choice, as a way to continue her legacy of love and kindness. Jessica Lee Sturgill's life was a blessing, and her memory will remain eternally in the hearts of all who loved her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered, forever cherished and never forgotten.
