In Loving Memory of Jesse Neal Lapratt
With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Jesse Neal Lapratt, who left this world far too soon on April 16, 2026, at the tender age of 17. Born on June 22, 2008, in Greenisland, NY, Jesse was a cherished son, brother, and friend whose gentle spirit touched all who knew him.
Jesse was the treasured son of Kim Cooney and Jesse LaPratt Sr. Tragically, he is predeceased by his loving parents, sister, and brother, leaving a deep void in the hearts of those who remain. Despite the challenges he faced, Jesse's quiet strength and resilience were a testament to the love and support he received from his family and friends.
A true introvert at heart, Jesse was known for his intelligence and thoughtful demeanor. He found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was playing video games or immersing himself in the world of UFC and GTA. Above all, Jesse cherished the moments spent with his dear friends, Bryden, Ian, and David. Together, they shared countless adventures and laughter, creating memories that will forever be etched in their hearts.
Jesse's love for life was evident in his carefree spirit, and he embraced each day with a sense of curiosity and wonder. Although he was a self-proclaimed "stoner," he possessed a depth of understanding and wisdom beyond his years. His quiet presence and gentle nature had a calming effect on those around him, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A service to celebrate Jesse's life will be held on April 19, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Parker Brothers Memorial Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the life of a remarkable young man who touched the lives of many.
As we bid farewell to Jesse, let us remember the joy he brought into our lives and the love he shared so freely. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he find peace in the embrace of his family who awaited him in the afterlife, and may we find comfort in knowing that we were blessed to have had him in our lives, even for a short while.
Rest in peace, dear Jesse. You will be missed, but never forgotten.
