Jesse Glen long

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jesse Glen Long, who departed this life on June 21, 2026, at his home in Andrews, South Carolina. Born on May 7, 1984, in Georgetown, South Carolina, Jesse was a beloved son, father, grandson, uncle, and friend, known for his infectious smile and generous spirit. Jesse was the cherished son of Melinda High Long, who resides in Pawleys Island, and the late Tony Long of andrews sc Jesse's heart was filled with love for his two precious children, Robert Langston and Katie Long, both of Andrews, South Carolina. He was an adoring father who cherished every moment spent with them, guided by the love and wisdom imparted by their special grandparents, Elizabeth and Robert Langston, who also played a significant role in Jesse's own upbringing. A devoted son and grandson, Jesse is survived by his mother, Melinda, and his grandmother, Linda Evans, along with her husband, Dan, both of Pawleys Island. His family also includes his dear uncle, Jeff High, and aunts Patty Sue, Jackie Long, and Lori Ann Long. Jesse was a beloved uncle to several nieces and nephews, who will fondly remember him for his playful nature and boundless affection. Jesse was fortunate to have shared a deep and meaningful friendship with Susan Ahler of Greenville, South Carolina, who has been a steadfast companion for the past seven years. He also held a special place in his heart for Viki Moore, whom he affectionately called his "second mom." Jesse is proceeded in death by his father Tony long, his sister Amber Nicole long, sister Brandy carla matthews. His aunt Tammy Evans. His maternal grandfather and his paternal grandfather and grandmother. A man of many passions, Jesse derived immense joy from go-kart racing, a hobby he shared with his father and grandparents. He took great pride in working on the family go-karts and was a familiar face at many racing events, where his enthusiasm and camaraderie were felt by all who knew him. Jesse's warmth and willingness to help others were defining characteristics that endeared him to everyone he met. His smile could light up a room, and his kindness left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to cross his path. A service to honor and celebrate Jesse's life will be held on August 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM. At Antioch PH church ( fellowship hall) In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Jesse's memory. As we bid farewell to Jesse, we take comfort in the beautiful memories he leaves behind and the knowledge that his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. His legacy of love, generosity, and joy will forever remain in our hearts.
