After his military service, he embarked on a lengthy career with General Motors, where he was known not just for his strong work ethic but also for his camaraderie with his co-workers. His professional life was marked by integrity and commitment.
Jess was a man of many passions. He was a true sports enthusiast, with a love for football that was rivaled only by his affection for the magical world of Harry Potter. He found immense joy in music and movies, often sharing his favorites with family and friends.
An accomplished martial artist, Jess practiced Karate with dedication and had the honor of receiving his black belt. His commitment to martial arts was a reflection of his disciplined nature and love for physical fitness. He enjoyed working out, always striving to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.

In addition to his family, Jess had a special place in his heart for his dogs, whom he adored and spoiled with treats. He was also known for his love of helping others and offering wise counsel to those in need. His kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand will be remembered by all who knew him.

The 23rd Psalm
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
for ever.
Special Thanks
The family of Jess Felix extends heartfelt gratitude for your prayers, support, and kindness during this time.
We also want to thank Pastor Hanks and his family, and the Smith family, for providing the music and video collage (Silas Hanks), as well as the message, to send a proper farewell to our dad.
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness. - Isaiah 40:10
