In Loving Memory

Jerry L Leupp
July 13, 1945 — April 1, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry L. Leupp, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, veteran, and friend, who departed this life peacefully at home on April 1, 2026, after a valiant battle with cancer. Born on July 13, 1945, in the welcoming community of German Township, Ohio, Jerry’s life was a testament to dedication, love, and unwavering service.
Jerry was the cherished son of the late William and Velma Leupp, and beloved brother to the late Richard Leupp and sister Susie (Dale) Burke of Morenci MI. His steadfast spirit and warm heart continue to live on through his loving family, including his devoted wife of 54 years, Marsha, and his children, Nicole Leupp of Archbold and Christopher (Tanya) Leupp of Archbold. Jerry was the proud grandfather to Gabrielle, Kaylee, Starr, Bryan, Erica, and Eddie, and a doting great-grandfather to Marcus and Juniper. His family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
A proud graduate of Archbold High School, Jerry went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Army, becoming a veteran of the Korean War. His dedication to his fellow servicemen and women was unwavering, and he continued to honor their legacy as a member of the American Legion Post 265 for over half a century, the VFW Post 7424, and as a proud member of the Fulton County Honor Guard.
Jerry found his calling in maintenance, first at Young Spring & Wire and later at Allied Moulded Products, where he worked diligently until his retirement. His colleagues remember him as a man with an incredible ability to work and fix anything, a testament to his industrious nature and keen problem-solving skills.
In his younger days, Jerry was an avid hunter, participating in numerous hunting clubs where he formed lasting friendships. As he grew older, his passion for the great outdoors evolved into a love for camping every weekend, creating treasured memories with his family and friends. He looked forward to his annual trip to Kokomo, Indiana, for the VFW reunion, where he would reconnect with fellow veterans and celebrate the bonds forged through shared service.
Jerry will be remembered for his tireless dedication to his community, whether it was through projects for the VFW or various endeavors around the house. His hands were never idle, and his heart was always full of generosity and kindness.
In accordance with his wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Jerry’s life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jerry’s memory to the Fulton County Honor Guard, Wauseon, Ohio, ensuring that his spirit of service and commitment to his fellow veterans continues to inspire.
Jerry L. Leupp will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, service, and dedication will forever remain in the hearts of those who were privileged to know him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love of those who have gone before him, and forever in the embrace of those who hold his memory dear.
