Jerry was the beloved son of Jerry Stanford Sr. and the late Rose Marie Stanford. From a young age, Jerry exhibited a lively spirit and an insatiable curiosity for the world around him. His childhood in Dallas was filled with the love and guidance of his parents and the camaraderie of his brothers, Brian and Pat Anderson, who stood by him through all of life’s adventures. Throughout his life, Jerry was known for his generous heart and unwavering dedication to those he loved. He was a devoted father to his son, Jerry III, instilling in him the values of integrity, compassion, and resilience. Jerry took immense pride in his role as a grandfather, delighting in the laughter and joy of his three grandchildren, who brightened his days and filled his heart with boundless love. For many years, Jerry was blessed with the companionship of his life partner, Jessica Bailey. Together, they built a life filled with mutual respect, shared dreams, and countless cherished moments. Jessica was not only his confidante and steadfast supporter but also the love of his life, and their bond was a testament to the power of true partnership. Jerry's professional life was marked by dedication and excellence. He was respected by colleagues and clients alike, known for his integrity and work ethic. Yet, it was his personal relationships that truly defined him. Jerry's friends and family will forever remember him as a man who was always willing to lend a listening ear, offer a helping hand, and share in the joys and challenges of life. Though preceded in death by his beloved mother, Rose Marie, Jerry's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Jerry's life will be celebrated on June 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM at St. Mary’s AME Church, where friends and family will gather to honor a life well-lived. As we come together to say goodbye, we hold onto the comfort of knowing that Jerry's spirit will continue to guide and inspire us.
