With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jerry Collins, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who left this world on March 29, 2026, after a courageous battle with illness. Born on June 27, 1954, in the charming town of Branson, Missouri, Jerry's journey through life was one marked by love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of those he held dear. Jerry was the cherished son of Glen and Betty Collins, who instilled in him the values of hard work, kindness, and dedication. Though Glen, Betty, and Jerry's brother Don have predeceased him, their spirits undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms into the eternal embrace of peace and love. A man with a gentle soul and a heart full of generosity, Jerry shared over two decades of wedded bliss with his beloved wife, Jennifer Epperson. They celebrated their union on June 7, 2003, a day that marked the beginning of a beautiful life together, filled with unforgettable memories and shared dreams. Jerry was a proud and devoted father to his son, Brandon Collins, who he guided with wisdom and unwavering support, and his legacy lives on through Brandon and Jerry's brother, Butch Collins, who remains a pillar of strength for the family. Jerry's heart was particularly warmed by the joy of his four grandchildren, whose laughter and energy brought light into his life. Throughout his life, Jerry touched the hearts of many with his gentle demeanor and infectious smile. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing every moment spent with family and friends. His warmth and kindness knew no bounds, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire those who knew him. A celebration of Jerry's life will be held on April 8, 2026, at 1:00 PM, in the serene setting of the Daken Funeral Home's onsite chapel, located at 504 S Kimball Ave, Caldwell, ID 83605. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the remarkable life of a man who was, above all, a loving husband, father, and friend. As the family of Jerry Collins, we wish to honor him as a loving father and husband, whose presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Jerry's name to a charity of your choice, reflecting his generous spirit and dedication to helping others. Jerry Collins leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever echo in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. While we mourn his departure, we also celebrate the incredible life he led—a life that will continue to inspire and uplift us all. May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love he gave so freely.
