In Loving Memory of Jerry Arline III It is with heavy hearts and a deep sense of loss that we acknowledge the passing of Jerry Arline III, who left us peacefully on August 18, 2026, due to natural causes. Born on March 10, 1961, in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, Jerry was a cherished son of the late Jerry Arline Jr. and Bennye Joyce Arline. He was a beloved brother to the late Eric Arline and sister Gerry Lynn Arline. His legacy continues through his sons: Gregory and Orion Arline and surviving siblings: Wintress Arline-Barnes, Cynthia Arline, Joanna Sherrod, Sonya Arline, Russell Arline, and John Arline, as well as his beloved Aunt Doris McCartney. Jerry was a devoted father to his two sons: Gregory and Orion, who are left to carry on his memory and the values he instilled in them. Though he had no grandchildren, his love extended to his many nephews, nieces, and cousins, whose lives he touched with his kindness and generosity. After graduating from Hamilton High School, Jerry embarked on a noble journey of service to his country, serving honorably in the Air Force from July, 1982 to July, 1986, and in the Army-Marines from March, 1990 to September, 1992. His commitment to service was further demonstrated in his career as a dedicated Head Security Guard at Cedars Sinai Hospital, where he was respected and admired by colleagues and friends alike. Jerry found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life—he loved to cook, enjoyed playing pool, and had a talent for drawing. His visits to the Inglewood Senior Citizen Club and the Melody Bar for pool, were not just hobbies; they were expressions of his love for community and camaraderie. Jerry was a kind and gentle soul, known for his loving and caring nature. He was an excellent conversationalist and always had a good story to share about military travels and civilian life as well. He was thoughtful, always remembering his loved ones on holidays, and his presence brought warmth and comfort to those around him. May His soul rest in God's eternal peace!
