Celebrating the Life of Jeron Marshall Today, we celebrate the life and legacy of Jeron Marshall, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, brother, loyal friend, and a man whose kindness and generosity touched countless lives. While his passing on July 19, 2026, leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him, we gather in gratitude for the 48 remarkable years he shared with us. Jeron’s life was defined by his unwavering love for family, his willingness to help others, his infectious sense of humor, and his ability to make everyone feel welcome. His legacy lives on through the memories he created, the wisdom he shared, and the many lives he impacted along the way. Born on May 23, 1978, in Detroit, Jeron was raised with the values of hard work, compassion, and community that would define his life. He carried those values wherever he went, touching countless lives through his generosity, wisdom, and unwavering willingness to help others. In 2000, Jeron moved to Las Vegas, where he married the love of his life, Nakelle Hayes, on August 19, 2000. Together they built a beautiful life and raised three amazing children. Later, the family settled in Lawrenceville, where Jeron planted roots and created a home that was always filled with love, laughter, and open doors. Jeron worked as a Construction Manager in the cellular tower industry, earning the respect of colleagues through his dedication, leadership, and strong work ethic. Outside of work, he enjoyed landscaping and design, camping, kayaking, barbecuing, and cooking for family and friends. He was especially known for his unforgettable Fourth of July celebrations that brought together family, friends, neighbors, and anyone fortunate enough to receive an invitation. More than anything, Jeron loved people. His home was a place of refuge and gathering, always open to those who needed a helping hand, a listening ear, or words of encouragement. He had a gift for offering life advice, making people laugh, and helping others see the best in themselves. To his children, he was the “fun dad”—always ready for an adventure, a lesson, a joke, or a memory-making moment. His love and guidance will continue to live on through them. Jeron is survived by his beloved wife, Nakelle Marshall of Lawrenceville, Georgia; his children, Imani Marshall of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Iyanah Marshall of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and Ian Marshall of Lawrenceville, Georgia; his father, Josh Marshall of Detroit, Michigan; his mother, Chiquita Bivens of Ohio; his brothers, Antoine Cooper, Eric Marshall of Tampa, Florida, Fred Hayes of Detroit, Michigan, and Zacharie Anderson of Bremerton, Washington; along with a host of extended family members, friends, neighbors, and loved ones whose lives were enriched by his kindness, wisdom, and friendship. Jeron’s legacy is one of love, service, friendship, and community. He believed in lending a helping hand, listening without judgment, and lifting others up whenever he could. He was the friend people called when they needed advice, encouragement, or simply someone to listen. His generosity knew no bounds, and his welcoming spirit made everyone feel like family. Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, the memories he created, the lives he touched, and the love he shared will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
