Jerome was the beloved son of the late Eddie Lowe and Dorothy Watkins, and the cherished brother of the late Tammy Watkins. He is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Debra Hurry Watkins, who stood by his side in every endeavor. Together, they lovingly raised their children: Reginald Huery, Alexandria Watkins, Shentavia Adams, and Asha Cathey. Jerome's love and wisdom will continue to guide his eight grandchildren, who were the light of his life. A proud graduate of Westwood High School, Jerome pursued further education with some college studies. He dedicated six fruitful years of his professional life to Coreland, where he was known for his hard work and dedication. Jerome had a special affinity for the Oakland Raiders, and his passion for sports was only rivaled by his love for barbecuing and traveling. His hobbies brought joy not only to himself but also to those who gathered around him, sharing laughter and creating lasting memories. Jerome possessed a rare and gentle heart, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His genuine nature and unconditional love for everyone he encountered were encapsulated in his favorite phrase, "one luv." He truly believed in the power of love and compassion to transform lives and make the world a better place. A service to celebrate Jerome's life will be held on September 19, 2026, at 9:30 AM at M.J. Edward's Funeral Home.
