Jerome P. Zwara, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 83. Born on August 30, 1942, in Buffalo, New York, Jerome's journey through life was marked by love, laughter, and a profound dedication to those he cherished.
The son of Jerome and Anne, Jerome grew up in a home filled with warmth and kindness, values he carried throughout his life. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Nancy, whom he held dear. Jerome was a devoted family man, surviving by his loving wife Christine, to whom he was married for 60 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with unforgettable memories and unwavering love that began on June 17, 1965.
Jerome was the proud father of five children: David (Chelle), Jerome, Micheal, Kimberly (Fred), and Kenneth (Becky). His legacy continues through his nine grandchildren: Angel, Anthony, Vanessa, Jason, Nick, Katie, Tracy, Jessica, and James, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.
A graduate of Burgard High School, Jerome went on to own and operate Accu-Rite Industries for 35 years, where he was not only a diligent and respected businessman but also a mentor and friend to many. His colleagues admired him for his integrity and dedication, qualities that defined his professional life.
Outside of work, Jerome was an avid fisherman who found joy and tranquility on the water, especially when accompanied by his family. His love for the outdoors extended to camping trips and thrilling snowmobiling adventures, activities that brought his family closer and created cherished memories.
Jerome was known for his wit and warm smile, a man who had the extraordinary gift of making those around him feel at ease. His kindness and generosity touched countless lives, earning him the affection and respect of all who knew him. Always willing to lend a helping hand, he embodied the true spirit of generosity.
In honor of Jerome's life, a celebration will be held at a later date, offering family and friends a chance to remember and celebrate the remarkable man he was. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, continuing Jerome's legacy of giving and compassion.
Jerome P. Zwara will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his love, laughter, and the indelible impact he made on the world around him.
