His childhood in Holt County was filled with the warmth of family and the beauty of the Nebraska outdoors, which instilled in him a lifelong appreciation for nature. Jerome proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he demonstrated unwavering dedication and courage. His time in the military was marked by profound camaraderie, and he carried the values of service and loyalty throughout his life. A true outdoorsman at heart, Jerome found joy in the simple pleasures of fishing and camping. He was often found casting a line on a tranquil lake or setting up camp under the stars, sharing stories and laughter with those he loved. His enthusiasm for the natural world was infectious, and he took great pride in passing down his knowledge and passion to his grandchildren. Jerome's life was profoundly touched by the love of his children, Jerome, Jesse, and Janelle Miodowski, who survive him. He was a devoted father who nurtured his family with kindness, strength, and unwavering support. His grandchildren, Sean, Michael, and Bella Miodowski, were the light of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them, watching them grow and thrive. He is predeceased by his beloved children, Jerome Jr., Jesse, and Janelle Miodowski, as well as three grandsons and two granddaughters. Though they have gone before him, Jerome cherished their memories and carried them in his heart always. In honor of Jerome's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate his life and legacy. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of choice, reflecting Jerome's spirit of generosity and compassion.
