A proud graduate of Edisto High School, Jermaine was a passionate football player, dedicating much of his youth to the sport both in high school and within the city of Orangeburg. His love for football endured throughout his life, as he avidly supported the 49ers and the Clemson Tigers. Beyond the field, Jermaine found joy in video games, cars, music, and drawing, all of which painted a vibrant picture of a life well-loved and lived. Professionally, Jermaine was known for his dedication and strong work ethic, having worked various manufacturing jobs in Orangeburg. His most recent position was at SC State, where he served diligently in the cafeteria. Jermaine’s colleagues and those he served remember him for his kind smile and willingness to share what he had, even to his last. Jermaine was a lifelong and active member of Good Hope A.M.E. Church in Cope, SC, a community that provided him with spiritual nourishment and fellowship. His faith and commitment to his church community were central to his life and the compassion he showed others. The essence of Jermaine’s character was his big heart. He was known for his caring nature, always ready to lend a helping hand. His kindness and generosity left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. A service celebrating Jermaine's life will be held on August 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Good Hope A.M.E Church. Family and friends are invited to gather in honoring a life that brought joy and warmth to so many. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Jermaine's memory, reflecting his spirit of giving and support for those in need.
