April 14, 1990 — April 4, 2026

Jerin Lee Kramer, a spirited soul with a heart full of adventure, passed away peacefully at his home on April 4, 2026, just shy of his 36th birthday. Born on April 14, 1990, in Kansas City, Missouri, Jerin brought joy and light to those who knew him. His journey, though marked by challenges, was a testament to his resilience and unwavering love for his family. He was the beloved son of the late Jerol Kramer and Vicky Davis, and he now joins them along with his cherished grandmother, Judith Young, in eternal rest. Jerin's legacy lives on in the hearts of his surviving family members: his devoted former wife, Patty Kramer, and their adored son, Jedidiah Kramer, who was the center of Jerin's world. He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings, Joshua Kramer, Melissa Sherman, and Jessica Kramer, as well as his stepbrothers, Curtis, Ryan, and Tyler Sharp. His stepmother, Tracy Kramer, along with numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, will continue to hold his memory dear. Jerin and Patty were married in a heartfelt ceremony in November 2013. Though their paths eventually diverged, they remained dedicated co-parents to their son, Jed, ensuring he grew up surrounded by love and support. Jerin was a proud graduate of Paola High School, where he was known for his sportsmanship on the baseball field, football field, and basketball court. His talents were varied, and he found particular joy in carpentry, where he expressed his creativity and skill. His passions were many, with a deep love for cooking and video games, but his greatest joy was being a father to Jed. Despite the trials he faced, Jerin never lost his love for Jesus, finding solace and support among those who shared his faith. Jerin was a complex individual, and while his journey included struggles with addiction, he was also known for his generosity and warmth among his friends. His personal challenges did not define him; rather, they highlighted the strength he summoned daily to face life's adversities. He was a man of contradictions, yet those who knew him best remember the laughter, mischief, and love he brought into their lives. A celebration of Jerin's life will be held on May 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Cross Point. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to support those in recovery, a cause close to Jerin’s heart. Jerin Lee Kramer will be remembered as a loving father, a cherished family member, and a friend to many. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, as we celebrate the laughter, love, and the indomitable spirit he shared with us all. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday May 17, 2026 at 802 S Pearl St at 1:00 pm.
