Jeremiah Murray

November 23, 2003 — June 20, 2026

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jeremiah Murray, a cherished son, devoted father, and beloved friend to many. Jeremiah's earthly journey concluded peacefully on June 20, 2026, at the age of 22. Born on November 23, 2003, in Houston, Texas, he lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those he held dear. Jeremiah was the son of the late Resha Thompson and is now reunited with her, his niece Armani Murray, and his grandmother Ethel Jean Thompson. His passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of his surviving family members: his three beloved daughters Nova, Neveah, and Nia, who were the light of his life; his twin brother Joseph Murray; sister Tyisha Murray; brothers Tariq Murray and Torian Ballard; and his dear Aunt Isha Thompson. From a young age, Jeremiah displayed a remarkable ability to bring joy to those around him. Known for his kind heart and giving spirit, he had an infectious laughter that could brighten the darkest of days. He found immense joy in making people laugh and ensuring his family had everything they needed. His legacy is one of unconditional love and selflessness, qualities that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. Jeremiah's life, though far too brief, was filled with moments of genuine connection and heartfelt laughter. His spirit will live on in the memories and stories shared by his family and friends, and in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. A service to celebrate Jeremiah's life will be held on July 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Oscar Johnson Funeral Home, located at 415 Berry Rd., Houston, TX 77022. Family, friends, and all whose lives Jeremiah touched are invited to join in honoring his memory and celebrating the remarkable person he was. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Jeremiah's generous spirit and his desire to make a difference in the world. Though Jeremiah has departed from this world, his spirit remains vibrant through the lives of his daughters and the love that he so generously shared. His memory will be cherished forever, and his legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire us all.
