Tayeh. He shared his life with his cherished spouse, Cody R. Avila, with whom he enjoyed eleven fulfilling years of marriage since their union on December 19, 2014. Jered was a devoted father to his son, Xavier Howard, who was the light of his life. A true renaissance man, Jered had a diverse array of skills that made him a Jack-of-all-trades. He was always tinkering and exploring new interests, which made him a captivating conversationalist. Jered's conversations could range from the intricacies of local geography to countless other topics, reflecting his innate curiosity and zest for knowledge. Jered's laid-back and gregarious nature made him a welcoming presence in any room. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and appreciated, creating connections and friendships that lasted a lifetime. He was a brother to Athena L. Backus, Marsena Anderson-Horton, Angela R. Howard, Samantha N. Conlin, and Joseph Horton. His love extended to his nieces and nephews: Keosha M. Ferrier-Howard, Allyssa Last, Elizabeth Greco, Skylar O. Warren, Mikai Anderson, and Jonathon N. Howard. Jered's family remembers him with great affection, sharing the words of Henry David Thoreau: "My Life Has Been the Poem, by Henry David Thoreau.
