October 28, 1980 — May 20, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Jennifer Melton, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, who left this world on May 20, 2026, at the age of 45. Born on October 28, 1980, in Michigan, Jennifer was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. Her family and friends mourn her passing and celebrate the beautiful life she lived. Jennifer was born to Rowena Hayes and Johnny Bullington, who have both preceded her in death, alongside her cherished grandparents, Bernita Kostman Hayes and Tom Hayes. Despite these losses, Jennifer carried their memories and values with her, inspiring those around her with her strength and resilience. Her ability to love deeply and unconditionally was a testament to the love she received from her family. Jennifer is survived by her dear brothers, Marcus, Caleb, and Brody; her devoted cousin, Jason Bowden; her supportive Aunt Crystal; and her caring Uncle Matt Hayes. She shared a special bond with each of them, and her love for her family was a guiding force in her life. Throughout her life, Jennifer was known for her warm heart and generous spirit. She had a passion for helping others and often volunteered at local shelters and community events. Her kindness and compassion left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Jennifer's laughter was infectious, and her smile could light up any room. Those who were privileged to know her will remember her as a gentle soul who always put others before herself. Jennifer's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her. As we remember her, we also choose to celebrate her life and the joy she brought to others. A memorial service to honor and celebrate Jennifer's life will be held on June 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Walnut Corner General Baptist Church, located at 2415 AR-228, Bono, AR 72416. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Jennifer are invited to attend and share in the remembrance of a truly remarkable woman. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Jennifer's memory to a mental health charity of your choice, to support those who struggle as she did. Jennifer Melton's life, though cut short, was filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to those she cherished. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace, knowing that she was loved beyond measure.
