Jennifer was the cherished daughter of the late Lloyd Clifton Charles and Miriam George, and sister to the late Lloyd Michael George and Pamela M. Martin. She was a devoted mother to Malcolm N. Carson, Jenelle A. Carson, and Kijona Carson-Thompson (Gregory). Her legacy of love continues through her grandchildren—Avery Banks, Zhane Thompson, Jamal Carson, Keion Thompson, Isaiah Carson, Muneer Carson—and her bonus grandsons, Jabril and Jacob. Her joy and wisdom will also be carried on by her great-granddaughter, Sydney Blackshear. A beloved aunt, she leaves behind nieces and nephews Russell, Erica, Anthony, Michael, Michael Jr, Jennifer, Miriam, Kerry, and Terry. Jennifer's career was marked by her dedication and warmth, spending over 30 years at Strawbridge and Clothier. There, she developed lifelong friendships that enriched her journey. Later, she pursued her passion for helping others by working for the Red Cross, a role she cherished deeply. A devoted member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Jennifer served as Treasurer, contributing her organizational skills and compassionate spirit to her faith community. Her involvement in the church was a reflection of her lifelong commitment to service and fellowship. Jennifer’s love for her family was evident in every meal she lovingly prepared, often inviting loved ones to share in traditional dishes like curry chicken and peas and rice. Her kitchen was a place of gathering, where stories were shared, and laughter echoed through the halls. An avid gardener, Jennifer spent countless hours nurturing her houseplants, each one a testament to her patience and nurturing spirit. Known for her infectious smile and warm embrace, Jennifer's kindness was felt by everyone she met. Her support for her grandchildren was unwavering, always present at their events and activities, cheering them on with pride and love. The legacy of Jennifer Angela George-Carson is one of love, kindness, and devotion. Her life was a beautiful tapestry of relationships, each thread woven with care and attention.
